Lithuania remains open for importers and exporters (0)

In order to encourage the companies to actively search for foreign partners and expand sales in foreign markets, the Ministry of Economy has allocated 552 thousand LTL from the 2007-2013 European Union structural funds to the first three companies. Financial support was given by using the "New Opportunities” measure, which will continue to support the search of companies' export opportunities.

Economy Minister Dainius Kreivys supports the state’s effort to promote diversified export in various ways in anticipation of economic stability. "We will seek to increase the export of services so that it would account for one third of the total export in 2015. We should not export cheap goods, but knowledge instead. We belong to one of the most innovative regions in the world, and in order to become a significant part of it, we will substitute the current low value-added economy with high value-added products and innovation"- highlights D. Kreivys.
